Upcoming Activities


​Monthly Club Meetings are held at the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium (MWAP) the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 PM, and the public is invited to attend. Prior to the meeting, an AAS member will host the 7:00 PM weekly planetarium show. During the warm months, around the time of first quarter Moon, AAS will usually hold a public telescope viewing session on either Friday or Saturday (follow us on Twitter for the latest information, see link at the bottom of this page). Please read below for details of upcoming events: 

On Wednesday, March 11th, at 7:00 PM, AAS member Karl Everett will host the MWAP star show presentation  "Lunar Rocks and Geology".  AAS monthly meeting follows at 8:00 PM.

Public Telescope Viewing at Canal Park (South of Lakewalk Galley, former Crabby Ol' Bill's): Next Lakewalk session should occur Spring of 2020, stay tuned for more information!
