Monthly Club Meetings are held at the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 PM, and the public is invited to attend. Prior to the meeting, an AAS member will host the 7:00 PM weekly planetarium show. During the warm months, around the time of first quarter Moon, AAS will usually hold a public telescope viewing session on either Friday or Saturday (follow us on Twitter for the latest information, see link at the bottom of this page). On Wednesday, May 8th, AAS will host the 7PM Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium presentation "The History of the Planets" by AAS member Eric Norland. AAS monthly meeting follows at 8PM.
